After the morning attack, there was some lull in the firing. But it did not last long, the firing restarted around 3.30 PM.
Mullivaikkal hospital came under artillery barrage again today by 4 PM, inflicting heavy damages to the hospital. As artillery shells started raining on to the hospital patients and others attending to them were panicked and started running out. Many injured left the hospital out of fear.
9 patients warded at the hospital died due to shell attack and dozens wounded.
The hospital is already functioning with meager facilities; the continuous attack on the hospital is making the medical care in the safe zone more vulnerable.
Earlier the Defense Secretary said that even hospitals outside government controlled areas are legitimate targets.
Are these damages to hospital by small arms asked our reporter? Our reporter said the people were wondering where the UN mission that was promised to come for their assistance.

Rajapakse is not the Killer
The universe can only handle some amount of atrocities. The time is not too far, the end game for G. Rajapaske is nearing. Diaspora Tamils should focus their resourses and channel it towards removing G. Rajapakse from the earth. International Criminal Court should be his next desitination.- This statement is completely Wrong.
International Criminal Court should hold the International Community responsible for the hardship caused to Tamils in North and East in Sri Lanka. The system should prevent and not cure. If the International Criminal Court to function then it should order the Government of England to intervene and correct their past historical mistakes plus stop this unjustifiable war immediately. That will give credibility to the International Criminal Court, unless it a useless money wasting organization.

This war is clearly shows how the Sri Lankan Government takes care of Tamils. In NO WAY THE SRI LANKAN GOVERNMENT CAN JUSTIFY WHAT THEY ARE DOING!
The Sri Lankan Gov. is killing and wounding innocent Tamils (woman and Kids are no exceptions) to catch a guy who they say is a Terrorist. Now isn't this a case for Sri Lankan supreme court? OR is their a legislation saying Section xyz a) if Sinhalese got in crossfire then; “It is a problem” b) if non Sinhalese got in crossfire then; “NO authority to rule?”
The conclusion:
The Sri Lanka Government DOES NOT treats the Tamils as equal citizens. It is becoming clear and obvious.
Thus as a modern society, the Tamils wish not to be part of Sri Lanka.
The international community is first to SAY (Release News as usual) a solution based on federal formula, did ever the government of Sri Lanka publicly announced what Solution they are proposing? I don't remember anything like that.
Let the Government propose and announce a deal in public. Why don't they do that? They can’t because they enjoy occupying the Tamil territory.
Briton has all the rights in this case to interfere. This problem is there since they handed out the country to the Sinhalese. Briton joined the districts for administrative purpose. How could they join 2 countries they occupied and leave it as one?
The Solution:
For what ever the reason the international community (especially Indians) proposes a solution within united Sri Lanka, The solution must include the external determination as do Quebec enjoys and all the administrative power vested within the territory. No royalty paid!
What I mean by Administrative power is Police, justice, tax, cost guard, education and Territorial assists like off shore petroleum, fishing licensing to land distribution.
Until then No Tamil is Safe!
